There are a LOT of people tied right now at 30 points. For men, Elton, Barry, Sam (as in Cooke), Justin, Kurt (as in Cobain), John Mayer and two American Idol contestants - one a winner, one a runnerup - all have thirty points. That needs to change post-haste.

What's happening on both gender lists is that the top six or so votegetters are taking the votes from everyone else. That's why I outlawed Whitney/Mariah/MJ on all future lists.
