Well, the lyric code says STILL TO THIS DAY, if I'm not mistaken, so it has to be earlier than her rendezvous with John. You thoughts?
All I'm going with this is that Joe Jonas is the luckiest "toy" in the world for the best Taylor Swift songs are written about him (except Adam and Mr. Green Eyes)
|
True, and I mean "Last Kiss" is defiantly about Joe. So you very well could be right and that it could be about Mr. Jonas. Wasn't "Sparks Fly" wrote about Jake Owen when she toured with him in 07'?

+1 and the secret message of Last Kiss says '' Forever and always '' so it's quite obvious x]
And yeah Speak Now would've had a great MV but oh well

@SF No one knows actually, the thing about Jake was speculated by a mere fan, hyped by the album's first week of release and Sparks Fly initial digital impact, CMT's article of it made it credible but still it's a little hard to believe, especially when Taylor doesn't talk about this song that much
Her faves are TSOU I need to get back at John, MEAN I need to get back at all the people saying I can't sing, who's the millionaire bitches?, OURS My label says I need to have two number ones, screw the fans for asking Enchanted blah blah blah
Last Kiss is Taylor at her best.

Regardless of who it's about, Sparks Fly is a good, catchy song, so. I'll leave it at that. She should've released Enchanted to country radio and Haunted to pop radio. They probably would've smashed. Last Kiss, ugh that song makes me cry every time I listen to it, even if I'm not sad. :/

Coulda, shoulda woulda . . . I'm just patiently waiting for the lead single. I'm very, very sure that the song itself won't disappoint. And I'm very much preparing for a new fave song, from her debut, it was TOMG, from Fearless, the title track (I think).
If Enchanted was released and backed up by the label but would still flop, I'd definitely understand it like how people moved on from Marry the Night.

It would've killed her career as a Country artist .
I mean Enchanted isn't Country at alll
The last single choice was the best they could get.
They wanted a song that wouldn't break the Top 10 streak .
They could've sent a slow song , but that's risky .
They could've sent Speak Now , but that song already charted high , and it sold a lot , and charted ( even if low ) on Country radio .
And people say that Speak Now is tiring ( I don't see it though )
Ours was such a smart choice because not everyone in the US heard it , and it's such a cute , happy song that would leave you smiling .
The lyrics are sweet and smart , her voice sounds very good , the song is mid-tempo and relaxing and it's catchy .
Plus , it's Country
So it's the smartest choice they could've made for the final single , and it ended up being a #1 favourite and a #1 on Mediabase and BB .

Do you think she'll do another live chat to release the album title , tracklist, release date and lead single?

You're on a roll right now with your gifs.
For me Last Kiss == White Horse.
I'm biased when it comes to her grammy-winning songs. The song becomes more appealing to me when it won an award or something. I don't know why.

Kidding.
It's a great song. My least played Taylor songs:

The Outside
A Place In This World

Not really. It's taking so long for it to hit #1. I sometimes doubt if it would even reach the top.

Mine is a meh-lead single compared to an easier smasher that is Sparks Fly.
Back to December - they were toooo confident with this one. They should have rested from pop and opt to Mean as 2nd single instead. #1 is on lock in all my honest opinion.
Now third single should have been for Enchanted, she's resting from country this time because I'm sure as hell Mean would still be eaten by country radio. With all the push and promos for a "third single" Enchanted could have been career-defining.
And she could **** things up with Back to December, Mine, Haunted.
DEFINITELY NO OURS. so desperate.
Just my thoughts.

Ikr . I'm a weirdo .
Idk White Horse still gives me the feel of a commercial song , unlike Last Kiss which I feel is VERY natural and it's sung straight from the heart and it's too good to be recognized by anyone ... ( See how I'm a weirdo? )
And you're right especially when they're the Grammys !

I think that's the reason why I'm trolling here so much, updates (and SF)!
I hope it's a TV show this time. Just imagine Taylorplaying a full 1-hour show and at the end of the show she would belt out a part of the lead single like Lady GaGa did with Born This Way!
