I would say that NOW she is local. I mean NOBODY cares about her here in Europe. 'Touch My Leg', 'Eminem is my obssesion' and countless singles from her last two studio albums flopped here hard. Of course, she'll be ALWAYS rescpected for her one & only ultra hit - 'All I Want For XMas', but that's all. I don't mean to drag her, don't get me wrong - I love her voice, she's one of the most talented people out there, but yep - she's kinda local.

Overall, her world wide sales prove she is not. If people want to ignore those facts, then whatever. But it's really just ignorant.
Take away all her USA sales and she has still sold a **** loads of records. If those USA sales did not exist, what would be people say then? That all the rest of those records she sold came from nowhere?

To think that if you took her sales from the US she would still have higher album sales than every pop girl of this generation put together
