Hilary was STUNNING to watch from the debut episode of Lizzie McGuire. I fell in love with the girl in her first 10 seconds of screentime and have stanned since that day. She brought it during her first televised AMA's performance too.

Yes, but they're trying to get the success in musical films. Since HSM ended they've tried Camp Rock, Starstruck, Lemonade Mouth, a bit with Radio Rebel, and an incoming DCOM (I forgot the title) and Teen Beach Musical. And they concentrate more in promoting musical films, if Geek Charming was properly promoted it could have done better.

i've always liked hilary as an actress but as a singer, she always bothered me. not because of her voice or her songs. because she would lip sync most of the time and i have a big issue with that because people pay money to see artists sing and when they lip sync, it just seems like a waste :P but i'll always <3 her as an actress

Well she was pushed to lipsynch from the start because her label didn't want to turn her fans off for sounding different from her album. Once they realized she was actually heavily criticized FOR lipsynching, they made sure that future Disney stars didn't make it a habit to lipsynch.

Lemonade Mouth did really well though! Almost 7 million viewers. 400,000 copies of the soundtrack sold. Determinate ranked at #51 on BBHot100! Pretty decent imo
