I voted Beyonce, not just because I'm a stan because I stan for Alicia too. Beyonce may not play the piano, but she has greater vocals than Alicia, and also ***** on Alicia's performing!
Also, anybody can learn to play an instrument(it may take some longer than others). But can she play them as well as a top session musician?
For mainstream standards, Alicia's skills are great. Thats like Comparing Beyonce's dancing to actual TRAINED dancers or comparing her voice to actual trained OPERA singers.. Beyonce would lose in both categories, if you really want to try that logic.
I love them both very much and it's very hard decision but I think I go with Bey! I saw both of them live and listened all of there records and I can't believe there are people who think Alicia is the better vocalist Either you are haters or you must be deaf!! Bey voice ***** on Alicias cause she has much bigger vocal range and here voice is much stronger..I love Alicia's voice also though..

(All Alicia's signature have become go to songs for people who want to prove they can sing, in real life or TV shows).
Personally, I think Alicia is the better artist (just looking at her singles is a reflection of that). She largely makes up for some atrocious live segment, with the soul and passion she puts in everything she does. Having soul or identity in your voice is better than being technically perfect (and even that is stretch for Beyoncé because all the yodeling, endless melismas, unecessary vocal runs and oversinging are a huge no-no!!!). Song In A Minor & Diary have become beautiful classic records. Well-written, well sung, well composed and with a nice old school vibe.
