So.. er. It's not very good?
- It's really generic, and sounds like something Thursday, Taking Back Sunday, or any Warped Tour band would do.

Not to take anything away from those bands, but MCR was always so good because of the theatrics, the story telling, and the lot.

This is just.. dissapointing.

Are you basing this on the VMA performance or has the single leaked?

This will probably be yet another example of why not to judge an album for its lead single. You aren't, but I know people are going to start doing that.

Same with Evanescence. Their lead single is NOTHING like their album. So you're totally right.

That VMA performance was awful. But I love "Welcome To The Black Parade" so I don't know. *You can listen to it on their purevolume* This song reminds me of "Jesus of Suburbia" as we are getting a kind of similar story type album. I'm intrigued to say the least.

don't agree that it's quite like those bands, but yes, kinda generic. Not impressed on the first listen, but we'll see. It feels like it might by a grower, but if not, I'm not pleased.

Yeah this opinion is not about the whole album, but just the lead single, for which I have the mp3 (not the live VMA performance).

Still looking forward to the album though.
