Hey, it's not a problem.
I was replying to your post, which was my first post in this thread so you I didn't think were aiming it at me personally. I just fitted the description of someone who supports the values of PETA (not PETA themselves) and yes I was/am trying to abide by it fully by being veggie, just further as a vegan and I don't have knee jerk reactions like it seems to some folk that supporters have which can make it look like they don't care all the time but only when they hear something. Hence I replied and tried to explain stuff throughout the thread.
It was very kind of you to apologise though, I appreciate it and 'tis not necessary in this case

Oh and don't worry - what you've seen on this thread is not me all worked up, it's kind of me somewhat annoyed (at some of the responses), angry at a repeat offender (the celeb) and trying to give some information. I was definitely abit more aggressive then usual in my first post, but that wasn't towards anyone here - I think I sounded less aggressive afterwards.
In regards to the rest of your post to Brian, animal handlers are swayed like anyone else either by the people around them or through uncertainty and just because something doesn't look so bad at the time only see things in hindsight. The problem is we don't know much about the situation, someone or more then one made this complaint or gave the information to PETA, unless it's shown they made up the whole thing. Also, PETA don't generally treat celebs badly, to start with anyway, they usually write to them first, then send them information, however they should take other means instead of then bombarding them if they are ignored. PETA has many celeb members/supporters as well. However, taking action is not easy at all hence PETA seem to try and be as public as possible, getting anywhere in the legal process takes forever, takes money, and support. I'm in a situation at the moment and have 4 years to make and to try and complete complaints against local government/council, which just goes to show some organisations may take the view that they must get as much possible public support and awareness as possible as quickly as possible. Like I said, I don't agree with many of PETA's methods, but as long as they report case that have some truth in them I think they are worth investigating, just like any case with any person rather then dismiss it offhand due to dis/likes regarding the parties involved.
