I think that's actually pretty high since the reviews have been awful and she lost so much hype before it dropped. I think "Starships" did wonders for her first week sales.

Sales are horrible compared to Pink Friday, and after considering her star power right now (which evidently isn't even as much there as I thought it was.) I actually expected 700k+ with this one but never really wanted to admit that in case something like this happened

Your hopes were too high I think, 700k??? I expected 400k or 450k at the most, I know it's still 200k less of that prediction but oh well, I'm happy it's gonna hit #1.

I guess. Although, the 1st week, more times than not, sets the tone for how the album will perform. If these sales turn out to be accurate, and I don't see how they couldn't be, then this is looking like a flop for Onika.

Hopefully it pulls a TD with the longevity.

Ummm Kim was actually going against Madonna, Janet Jackson, Mariah Carey! Britney in her prime, Xtina in her prime! plus missy! she had actual comp!

But the fact that Kim both first two album even 3rd album went platinum or double or triple with 1 or 2 singles with no heavy promo like Nicki says a lot!

Go buy ya fav's album and stop worrying about Kim!

I expected this....she should have played this era more urban.

Her debut album went 2x platinum because it shipped 2.1 m albums but sold only around 1.5-1.6m albums...the remainder of her albums have gone platinum gold or lower.
