Not really. Everyone knows that the key to longevity is maintaining some consistency with your music or image. Gaga lost a large number of fans during the BTW era. Shes obviously more interested in exploring new sounds and styles.
This is not a bad thing but she's bound to flop sometime. At this point I think Rihanna has more longevity potential than gaga.

Only time will tell really. If Gaga is selling 14 million + records after being in the game for more than 14 years than maybe so. It would just depend on where she is at during that point in her career. Will she be married with kids on top of her plate?
People were doing the same ridiculous comparison of Britney during her big years to Madonna at the present moment. Just let time do the talking; longevity as far as relevance, popularity, and money making ability go...all shall be proven. To put it frank, when Gaga hits her 10 years in the business portion, Britney will hit her 20th year.
Though the stans will argue back and forth about the matter on who is right and who is delusion, the real answer will come...you just have to watch over the years with time. Let the next big IT girl come and still your fav's thunder and be compared endlessly to their career peaks. It happens with each generation.

Agree! Britney must also be a huge philanthropist like gaga. Brit had a foundation, she donates money all the time. She was also in a campaign to to stop bullying, with the Obamas. She was made a song along with many other artist, to stop discrimination and so on.
