I'm unsure. About which BTW stans and which TF stans are you referring?

Tim's been on a The Fame kick lately.

The success stans bother me the most. They'll come stan for Gaga again once she's back on top.

I think a lot of people stopped stanning because they genuinely were not having the music this era.

I mean I guess. Some have just gone too far one way, coming back would almost seem pointless.

I agree with this. I guess the problem with her original fans was that they fitted exactly into this category...

I think it was 80s-influenced. At least, some of the songs were. I think she said a lot of things about the album, and described a lot of things, which ended up untrue.

Not all the original fans though. It's natural for some people to lose interest because she's pretty different than her debut, and people will always have fond memories of that image. I've been a fan since The Fame though, and I'm in it for the long run.

I'm sure a lot of them that claim that if she goes back to her previous sounds that they will like her have for surely moved on or have found new interest. I just think that some of them are not as excited with Gaga anymore. And some of them don't like that she's not just the pretty/stylish pop star anymore.

You know what I mean, though. A majority of them didn't stan for Gaga, and perhaps not even for her success, but for the genre of music she promoted. The minute she stopped making club-banging dance-pop hits, they left her.

Oh now I know what you mean. Yeah, a lot of those people did. Understandably so, because she did it SO well. But they weren't necessarily here for Gaga, just Gaga's music.
