Yeah, this is easily Top 5 on here. I can't believe you guys have put this any lower than #8 tbh, and it's rather interesting. This song has influenced Beyonce, Rihanna, and every other poppy R&B song you've heard since 2001. It's catchy, cute, and for once, nostalgia doesn't play a factor in its quality.
Did any of Britney's US number ones deserve to make the top twenty?
It's not like in the UK, where Toxic and Everytime went number one. I'd close this thread if those were absent from here.
BTW, you can totally host the UK version of this rate if you want to!
I am most certainly here for that!

Hmm Adele, Kylie and Lily. I would like take part in this one. And hope Spiller ft. Sophie Ells Bextor - Groovejet also will be included.

Right now, you're number two, behind genetic fail's Katy/Kesha/Gaga rate. But deals can be made.
And it's up to you to let girl groups in or not. Just know if you do than I won't let you accept any votes for Push the Button, Freak Like Me, Sound of the Underground and The Promise that are anything less than eight.

Groovejet will most definitely be represented. Oh, yes. We will be SHOWING OUT.
Highest: 10 (Beyonce On Top, SpecialK, Jameson Teqkilla, Chemist, Green, Regina George, @michael., Jdella11, Ace Reject, Honey, fortheloveofmusic, Pop pop123, Aryl, ClassicMainstream, Katie) | Lowest: 6.5 (Jinzo)
The biggest song of the 21st Century (so far) leaves us at #4. While Someone Like You is raw, real, and relatable, We Belong Together is the anti-thesis of that song. It's glamorous, fantasy, and something that no one will ever achieve. However, like movie, people turn to music to escape. Sometimes people want to hear about the love story they'll never have, and who better than Mariah to take them there?
It's **** like that I love about the UK, we get the most random **** to #1. It couldn't ever happen in America because of all the rules about airplay and streaming and whatever (which as a Brit I don't actually understand)- we base it 100% off sales.
So, Bob the Builder, Crazy Frog, countless amounts of random one-hit wonder European DJs, charity singles, talent show winners- they're always getting one week #1s and then disappearing off the face of the Earth again.
The latest weird #1 we had was Loca People by Sak Noel:
"When I came to Spain, and I saw people partying, I thought to myself- what the ****!?"
