But overall, if you ignore those retarded pokémon, Black & White >= HeartGold & SoulSilver >> Diamond & Pearl == Ruby & Sapphire >> The rest...

You know too much about Pokémon....but as for taste.....

General consensus is the 2nd generation will ALWAYS be the best (in games), if not it's the first. Third gen was crappy in games, decent in Pokés. 4th was good overall. 5 is a piece of crap and the worst EVER.

My favorite game ever will always be Pokémon Silver. Ruby was my first game, then I went back to play the other ones, it still beat the 3rd gen.
