....This is random as hell and doesn't match the song at all. Like it's a very random ass video. That said, I get the message the video is trying to convey, it just doesn't work. However Katy looks beautiful, the song ***** and I will still rock out to it.
So...because her boyfriend cheated on her, she decided to cut her hair (for dramatic effect I suppose) and join the Marines? I'm not quite seeing the connection between A and B.
In other news, this is the first time I've heard the full studio version of this song. Um...yeahhhhh.
I think her "Transformation" into a man was meant to somehow relate to not feeling like a woman anymore because she was cheated on or something? I dunno.

Riiiight. My thoughts exactly. This isn't Mulan..... And also, WHY did she join the Marinesin the first place? I don't think the military is exactly the most normal rebound from a relationship. Pretty sure they do psych tests to make sure that their recruits aren't crazy mofos who feel the need to burn up letters from exes.
