though I would say Michael is the best overall performer, I still don't think he had an amazing voice (as what I find a "LIVE performer" needs), but he could sing well and the show around it and his dancing made it complete

You can't really compare female vocals to male vocals, but Michael could definintly sing. He just had a more angelic tone. His range was impeccable for a man. And he always had such emotional conviction in his voice.
