Did you even read what I said?
Gaga herself explained why she dressed the way she did in 2008/2009/2010. You could tell she was insecure during TF and TFM eras, thus why she often hid her face. As the BTW era progressed, she became more and mroe confident with who she is.
You guys are so hung up on "I miss old Gaga" that you don't see how often she struggled during her first two eras. The Fame was nothing but an artificial mockery and she began to bloom as a person during The Fame Monster when she began to sing about her life, her fears, and her struggles. She said herself that the reason she wrote Born This Way was because she saw herself in her fans. Her fans came to her with their struggles and she related to them. BTW was about her as much as it was about her fans. We help one another. She's so much happier and more confident now and I feel honored that I got to watch her grow over the past four years. That's why I've loved the Born This Way Era so much. It was all her. She started off with the gimmicks and costumes, but slowly began to dress less "weird" and now we have her doing an interview with Oprah in nothing but a simple red jacket. It's amazing.
That's why it pisses me off when people say they miss the old Gaga. The old Gaga wasn't who Gaga truly wanted to be, it was who everyone else wanted her to be and I guess some of you still want her to be something she's not for the sake of #1 hits and getting the general public to like her.
