i think they are really good as POP PARTY kind of songs (you know like the ones you get stuck in your head and you end up hating then you dont hear them for ages and when you do you love them) but when it comes to meaning and well her other type of material they dont really compare...

Together and MLILAS are one of her best songs.....

I feel like aftershock had the potentional to be really amazing but something is missing... and I need to hear yes I am more to decide on that song.

What I love about her upbeat songs is that they actually have a MEANING.

Not just random party songs about loving someone like a love song.

Aftershock is a typical party love song but Yes I Am has some meaning its self empowering which I guessed it would be

I actually think Yes I Am talks about her past relationship (Joe) and getting stronger after that relationship, and I don't doubt it because I read that it's the first song she recorded last year and by that time she was still in pain with her break-up with Joe D:.

I want to hear another ballad though.

The beggining of Aftershock reminds me of I Hate Boys by Christina

AS definitely has some electro inputs, but it's DEFINITELY not a "typical" party song. I mean, I don't think you can tell me five songs that sound similar to this (apart from other TImbo songs)
