By that logic, Whitney Houston is the greatest performer of all time because her rendition of the National Anthem is one of the most remembered performances of all time. I don't remember a single Madonna performance besides the kissing one and that includes her recent Superbowl performance.

And having your performances remembered means hsit when they're remembered for the wrong reasons. ex: Britney's gimme More performance, Janet Jackson's superbowl performance, etc.
