I thought this thread was about Beyoncé and Michael, not Beyoncé and Madonna?

She amazing, but her lack of live vocal talent is the reason I could never get into her, she sounds great on record, but the singing and dancing live doesnt translate.

Its also interesting that she dances so well live, I think this is what Britney stan think she did back in her prime, but Ive never seen her dance like Janet....ever.

Selling tens of millions of albums with hundreds of millions of dollars.

I know right? What about the The Nicholas Brothers, Fred Asteire, even Little Richard was a great performer he put everything into his Good Golly Ms. molly performances lol

Beyonce dosent need props, okay good for her. I get tired of people using that as an excuse for what makes a bad performer "she uses so many props, they overshadow her, she cant perform stripped down" BLA BLA BLA

You dont understand that there is different types of performers? For the love of PETE! Stop criticising madonna because she wants to make her live shows a form of art.

A couple of things:

1. If you're going to penalize certain artists for not singing live, then you have to do the same for all artists.
   
   
2. Just because you sing live that doesn't make anyone better than the next. Are Whitney and Mariah as good of performers as Michael? No. Obviously that tells you there's more to being a great performer than just singing live.
   
   
3. Janet is popular in Europe.
   
   
4. Madonna is a better performer than Beyonce.
   
   
5. If we're speaking on pop stars, Janet, Michael, and Madonna are the greatest entertainers of all time. They pretty much wrote the book on performing, while the artists of today are all still reading and taking notes from it.

Madonna is an intelligent person and she always delivers some thoughtful and different shows for her audiences. She also delivers her performances the way she intended when she wrote the songs. I can't say anything about Beyonce's one-dimensional shows -- where it's all about booty shake, and the general show fillers: "where mah [insert an adjective] ladies at?" and "Do you remember this? [insert DC3 medley]". Please.

I do agree on Michael, though.

Exactly, Madonna is a visionary, so is Lady Gaga for that matter.

The person behinds the scenes can put together artistic Beyonce performances if she hired someone.

Just because you're generously older, it doesn't make you a better performer.

it's not the truth, sorry. Madonna is far more creative, and consistent than rihanna on stage.

Don't compare her to one of the most uninteresting performers just because you arent keen to her type of performing. it's such an insult.

Why does everyone assume every single Madonna performance is full of 50 backup dancers and a floating spaceship or some ****? At least 3 songs in every one of her tours are just her on the guitar.
