Why would you want it to be released only in 2 weeks? What good will that do?
The only thing that could achieve is that it's being released while GYHAB already fell a lot in the charts, which is of course a possibility, and if that happens it's a near wasted released cause hardly anyone will watch the music video.
If they'd released it as soon as possible, while the hype is still there, it actually has an effect.
As I said, you can try to stretch the hype only so far, this won't work Rob Music Videos should actually be released WHILE there is still hype, cause a music video doesn't CREATE hype, it adds to it making more people buy it. When there is hype, they search for the music video. When there is no hype they just ignore the damn thing.

Sorry for my rant but I saw you say this already for a while and I just never understood why...

THOUGH another plan would be to release the music video out of nothing, or well one teaser ONE day before the release, as in to surprise everyone with it. But if so, then this should happen on Monday or Tuesday, not on Friday or so.

I see your point, but as I said if they want to do it perfectly they should release a teaser today, and release the video monday/tuesday. As in, as soon as possible Then there are still teasers, and it at least helps a tiny bit.
