Maybe she bought herself out of her contract? HWR signs 4 albums per artist, unless one renews their contract for more albums.

Thank god that after Demi and Selena release their albums this/next year they're done with HWR. Demi can shop new labels, if her she doesn't renew her contract and I'm praying she doesn't and Selena can wrap up her music career and focus solely on acting.

i'm not sure.. she has done some songs for the show but it's autotuned. But being able to sing isn't an issue when it comes to music anymore.

That's true. But I'm sure another label will sign her, but being w/ HWR is a good way for her to continue to build her fanbase and when she's comfortable with parting ways, and is in final talks to join a new label

I remember her saying in an interview that she's working on her album, after she films 3 movies that she has lined up, so by late fall she should be working on her album and she'll release it next year.

And if I remember correctly, Demi wants to release another album this year!! Hopefully in the fall after Unbroken gets released in the summer.

I'm all for Demi releasing another album this year. the more music the better! I just hope she does a little more writing on the next album! If I can get new Demi music AND new Miley Music I will be a very happy camper.
