the fact that MTV is gonna re-airing the special means that the rating was not so horrible..

Of course it wasn't! most of the MTV show get ratings like that anyways unless its something REALLY famous like Jersey Shore and it was pretty late.
Plus a lot of celebs commented so it was a success.
