There are many Britney M&G photos where she looks comfortable with her fans, Britney has been through hell and back and therefore she's very guarded and has every reason to be. She loves her fans and has done a lot for her fan base. Fans are strangers, you can't expect her to be very hands on with them like she use to, her close friend Fe said it's "too intimate" for her to hug people she doesn't know.
