I only want to say a few things before I block this website .

First, you cannot be sure about what songs or what albums will be successful. I remember that when BTW (song) premiered, many were saying (not in this forum) “this song is bad. It will be successful, but it will not match the commercial success of Gaga’s biggest hits.” Well, six weeks at the top of the Hot 100 was pretty big, wasn’t it? Then, when Judas premiered, almost everybody in this forum was saying “this song will smash. This is what we were waiting from Gaga from the beginning.” The song was successful in Latin America, Asia, and Spain, but it was it didn’t do well in the US and most parts of Europe. Then, when Yoü and I was confirmed as the fourth single, many in this forum were saying “what the hell is Gaga thinking? This will be her biggest flop.” Well, it peaked at number six and it was still in a good position in iTunes a few days ago. Now, when MTN was confirmed as the fifth single, almost everyone was saying “this is going to smash. Finally Gaga made a good decision. It will peak at number one in the Hot 100.” Well, it seems like it won’t reach the top 5 or the top 10 in the Hot 100. All these examples just show that we don’t know for sure what will be well received by the general public or what won’t. So, I don’t think people can be completely sure that if Gaga makes another album like TF she will rule the charts. Femme Fatale is an album full of dance songs with no religious or political topics at all and is it one of the most successful albums of the year? Yes, I think so.

Second, the fact that Gaga flops with MTN will not change the fact that she is the most successful popstars of our days and that she is the biggest popstar in the world right now. Even if Gaga sank into oblivion, would that really mean the end your life? Don’t you have more important things to worry about or to complain rather than the career of a popstar? Why are you “pressed” about the success of another artist? Guys, this is music, it’s not life or death. The competition you are creating between popstars is ridiculous. Gaga, Katy, Britney, Rihanna, Madonna, and all the other mainstream artists do not seem to have any problem among them, so why do you fight against the fans of those artists for chart positions and stuff like that? I would like to read an answer to this question.

Third, I might be wrong about this one, but I feel that the general opinion about something in this thread depends on its commercial performance. Judas is definitely getting less love than when it premiered, the love that existed for MTN also seems to be decreasing now that it is struggling in iTunes, and I remember that at least 80 or 85 percent of the comments here after BTW (album) leaked were very positive. Almost everybody was saying “such a great album Gaga. You did it again; there are so many epic songs in the album.” Now that it didn’t match the sales expectations of many people here, almost everybody seems to be commenting on the flaws of the album rather than the positive things it has. What happened to all the positive comments towards BTW (album)? Was I drunk or high when they were written here? Was I dreaming? I don’t think those opinions can actually be changed just because it is not the most sold album of the year, or can they?

It was nice to talk to some people here, but I cannot deal with so many mood changes that depend on charts. So, goodbye and, for the people who like this site, have a nice time.

Well, add to that week two things from today: a pizza restaurant displaying a Gaga special on their televisions and a street vendor playing Poker Face. For the ones who will say “those are only things from her previous eras”, yes, ignore the fact that I mentioned TEOG and Judas in my week. For the ones who will say “those are only her successful songs”, yes, ignore the fact that I mentioned Judas in my week .
