Where was "You and I" in comparison to "Marry The Night" on OVERALL AI?

MTN still hasn't been added by all Top 40 radio stations, which could be a part of the reason why it's stalling on airplay right now. But then again, not many songs are gaining as well as MTN (only TOTGA and SFTTR). I'd still be shocked if this song doesn't hit to top 10 on radio, and that's all I ever really expected from this era.

It is actually difficult to compare since Y&I started on Pop way earlier than its adds date. The fact is that, when it was at the current MTN AI (around 25-30M) it kept gaining 1.5-2M a day; I never tracked AI till now, so I don't know how this Christmas freeze actually affects songs.

Considering the following: this era has already brought us four top ten singles, award show openings at the GRAMMYs and the VMAs, three GRAMMY nominations (including AOTY), 5 million records sold (including 1 million in its opening week). Yeah, we're the ones with an unrealistic view of this era.

I'm sorry for that kind of meltdown I posted with the comparison but now that I'm checking I realised that You and I that day was 4 on iTunes cause it was performed at VMAs. That's the reason for better updates for it!

And after the freeze, there should be bigger than normal updates for all songs.

I mean, you personally aren't happy with how she has handled many things during this era Allstar() but thats just your personal preference, and can be respected.


But even you can't deny the success she has had, her highest selling album(and in less time) in Japan is Born This Way, she has managed to captivate the Japan industry, this would really help her in the nest era. She managed to score another Grammy AOTY nom(3rd in a row) with Born This Way. Shes topped almost every-single voting poll for awards this era, her STRONG dedicated fanbase is still present.


Shes seen success this era, how someone can deny that is beyond delusional.
