The epic end of the bridge which is begging for some big cinematic moment is just another (non-event) moment in the dance studio? A wide shot when she and her crew show up to dance on the street at the end? You barely notice them.
She doesn't know how to compose a shot effectively. This may be my second least favorite video of hers after TEOG.
It's very reminiscent of the wide shots she employed throughout the Judas video. It's amateur and as soon as I saw it I knew she must have had some hand in directing this.
I love the scene at 7:22 where she looks at her competition and says "and I did what any girl would do" and makes the blowjob gesture. She did what she had to do become the star she was destined to be and isn't ashamed to own it.
OK... This is the worst video I've ever seen!
I never thought I would say this but...
JUDAS >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>> MTN
I wish there would have been more dancing in the street at the end, though. That's what I was looking forward to the most But the synths at the beginning of the car scene sorta made up for it.
VIDEO OF THE YEAR. This makes up for The Edge of Glory's disappointing music video. This is FLAWLESS. It has a storyline I can follow and feels rght, it has amazing choreography, GAGA DID NOT TRY TOO HARD, it took the scare of it being 13 minutes long and diminished it. It needed to be that long, it wouldn't have worked without it. Pop industry, take some ****ing notes. This video deserves a Grammy. It's ****ing art. Gaga continues to show me why I stan for her in the midst of dark times of skepticism. It was dark and creepy and yet enlifting and inspiring.
WERK MS GERMANOTTA!
Plus, she's a great actor, I really felt her in the video.
