I don't know if it makes a difference, but I really can't see Gaga being snubbed after performing twice at the nominations show. How awkward would that be? I know the VMAs are rather irrelevant compared to the Grammys but anyway, didn't Katy Perry perform at the VMA nominations show and end up getting the most?
and also she was PRESENTED with her nominations like right as she was talking... I was like ugh they set this **** up well.
I loved that moment. I was impressed at the Grammys that night, giving one of the main awards to a jazz musician and then giving the Album of the Year to a rock band.
Both of whom deserved it more than their competition, tbh. Let them have that massive exposure.
There is technically, isn't there? It isn't like the one tonight, for sure, but didn't they have Katy Perry backstage at one of her concerts announcing a few of the categories?

Yeah it was kinda staged. Like I felt that they had the whole thing aired just so they could say that Katy Perry got all those nominations. They never did that for Gaga. The shade is that Gaga won 8 of hers and Katy only won like 3 or 4
I'm still gonna be sad thought because she worked her ass off doing this album, doing the instrumentals, the lyrics... I think she desearves this so much, more than anyone. And not because I'm a monster, even if I wasn't. Gaga desearves this more than anybody.
Too bad they might not think this way.

Ralph, check your wall.
Yes she does.
I think it will be a lot of nominations, she is performing twice guys
The thing with BTW is that it had quite a mixed review. Some critics praised it while others trashed it. It's hard to predict which road the Grammys will take. But, Gaga tends to do well with Grammy nominations so I'll remain positive but not overly confident, the best way to avoid disappointment.
Before any of the Grammy noms are announced, we all need to remind ourselves that the Grammys have made many, many dubious decisions in the past, and will doubtless do so again. It's nice to win them, but their taste is usually pretty poor in my opinion, so I won't be too rattled if they don't recognise her much this year. It's like the Oscars. How often is the Best Picture winner actually the best? Not very often.
