This is a mess that thread was a big mess, in my opinion Katy isn't a trend setter, and yes she made a lot of mistakes this era with her image and followed a lot of trends and did things that made her look like a money maker hit machine, and this album is generic and mainstream in general, and was mainly made to make her a main factor in music industry. But she has already prooved me that she is a real artist with an autentic and unique personality and doesn't need to follow trends, that's the main reason i stan for her, not jsut because of her catchy tunes and her success, just because i feel i can relate myself to her as a person, not an industry puppet,
That doesn't changes the fact that i want her to take a much mature image and music direction, but still i will always stan for her because of the person she is not because of how talented she is or the type of music she makes.
I hope i made my point with that, it's really difficult to say what i really feel in english lol.
