Yeah, on Alan Carr he asked her if she would work with Kitty and her automatic response was something along the lines of 'uh, no, I don't really work with anyone, but my next collabo is Elton John!'. You could tell all she wants to do is collab with the greats, which isn't so bad but it'd be nice to see her collaborate with more people her age.

I caught that too. You could tell she was thinking "hell no" in her head and wasn't trying to hide it at all. She then randomly turned the subject to the MTN video and what it was about. Poor Kitty.
True at first I wasn't really here for here collaborating with uh...old people.

But the duet with Tony actually turned out really great. I love her voice on tracks like that. So maybe a collab with Elton won't be too bad.

Maybe, but I also think that she feels that it's a bit too trendy to hop on another track with another female artist just because they're hot and slaying charts. She's in it for career establishment. In other words.. It looks good on her resume.
Edit: She wants someone with a lot of creative control.

That's true. Good point! Probably a bit of both. She maybe feels it's a little cheap too to do that, working with someone who is just hot at the moment. She's only here for the legends.
