I hate to say this but
Young Foolish Happy is one of the worst pop albums I've heard in the last three years. I don't know what she or her team were thinking when they decided to create a melting pot of contrived pop ballads and eccentric yet generic, disposable music.
The album has very minimal standout moments. "What Do You Take Me For?" (which originally I detested to the core), is probably the best song in her discography and it pains me that she could collaborate with Rusko and come up with something so ingenious and then let the rest of the LP slip into such a ginormous mess.
"All About Tonight" is the only other saving grace and that's not saying much at all. There's not much hope for longevity for
YFH either because the only remaining single choices are weaker than all that's been given to the public already. At this point her best bet may be "Till The Sun Comes Out".
I'm really disappointed though. I was a demi-stan for Pixie. Now, idk. This is almost as bad as
Who You Are or almost on the same level.
