I have an idea
Wait to release your album in early spring and get better long term sales because of
1) higher quality of music by having more time to record
2) better promotion
3) less competition(Not that the competition was anything too difficult to overcome...)
Not that hard.

@Nicole- I should have phrased it differently. I meant she has to return to a more generic, made for radio sound like the singles from TF and TFM had. BTWs drop in sales is huge, and the lack of longevity is even more frightening because the promo is just insane and still nobody is buying.
As for Rihanna, she's just not an artist people care about in the USA. All her fans are casual. She hasn't done anything that would build her a devoted fanbase. Memorable performances and videos are usually what creates a strong bond between the artist and the fans, and Rihanna doesn't have it. No memorable performance and only a handful of great videos.
TTT will still sell well, though, as long as the hits keep coming.

BTW hasn't outsold LOUD. Loud is still out doing it weekly with 8 months of no promo. So she won't. TTT is filled with monster hits as you can tell with WFL. Rihanna's gonna be the bitch in 2012. While Gaga will have to take the back seat.
