I don't know what y'all trippin on...the album been out a DAY... they're clearly basing the first week sales on PAST FWS of Rihanna which have been in this area. It has NOT even been Black Friday yet so we don't know what will happen. They said this about LOUD and clearly the outcome was different. I swear you people judge so quickly and are soo ready to talk **** when most of your faves sell ALL of their albums in the FIRST WEEK and are stuck there for infinity. LONGETIVITY>>>>>>>>> First week sales so fans can brag as that album ends up fighting to go platinum in the end.

What does black friday means?

you would think that albums only have a week to sell from the way that people clutch to 1st week sales

I really don't think Black Friday is going to contribute much to the numbers. I mean, people go out on Black Friday to get flat-screen TVs and iPads. People don't get trampled in the music section.

These sales are so disappointing if accurate.

Basically, the Friday after Thanksgiving which is sort of known as the kickoff for the holiday shopping season. Stores go crazy with sales and open up wayyy early. I think it's only here in the US.

LIES! The music section is left as a empty factory with the discounts they have. You can get a physical cd for as low as $4 or $5 on that day. Our Best Buy, Wal*Mart, FYE, Target, etc have albums that are gone in less than a hour. You can buy albums half their regular retail price on Black Friday.


But yea, most look to electronics for the bargain deals on that day, but music and movies are to never be underestimated.

The prediction is pretty much guaranteed to have taken Black Friday into account. HDD have been doing these predictions for years. They aren't going to forget to adjust predictions for weeks in which sales stand a chance of being inflated.

Hmmmm, maybe in your city, but people are looking for the big-money discounts where I'm from, and probably in most places.

I think TTT should be discounted to 1.99 on Black Friday. And make all of the stores make a stand smack in front of the music section for TTT and none for Nickelback. That should make it go #1

Black Friday is a big shopping day for everything. But I'm sure HDD has accounted for the Friday rise in sales in their predictions.
