the thing is right,
people are saying Turn It Up is better.. she wrote them songs from the age of 14?
If she can write amazing songs like that at 14, she's hardly a flop.

The public is being really stupid imo. My friend, who used to be a huge Pixie fan, told me that her album was probably crap and he wasn't going to buy it because he hated the first two singles. He kept on blabbering about how she sold out and insisted that Boys & Girls had a totally different theme to AAT when I brought up that example.

This is the reason I think it's flopping, I think a lot of people have this mindset. Which is why she needs to cancel Kiss The Stars imo.

It hardly makes any sense though. True, the production between Boys & Girls and AAT is different, but the theme's about the same. WDYTMF isn't outrageously sexy either.

Hopefully she's just facing a sophomore slump, and people get over it soon.

I think it's more her image - WDYTMF video was really sexual compared to what people saw from her last era. The thing that made her popular was her image, she was hot without trying. She came across as a sweet, regular girl.

I'm genuinly shocked she isn't in the top 10 though.

Yeah. She maybe should've gone with a ballad after AAT, just to keep the public happy. It's a shame though, I love WDYTMF.

All About Tonight, may be a rubbish song, but it got #1.. and it was Pixie's comeback, WDYTMF was a bad choice, I think it was last minute also with Pusha T.. he didn't even help.

She's going to her old school Italia Conti today and she's signing copies of Young Foolish Happy.
No limit to whoever goes.. just go and you'll get to meet her

Do you know if there'll be any signings later? I want to go but it'd be very spontaneous and last minute, and hence very costly.

Not that I know of yet, but there's bound to be some really.. probably London though.

I never really saw the potential of WDYTMF from the start anyway. At first, I thought it was horrible! I like it now, but I really don't think it's strong enough as a single itself, let alone to sell the album. She needs to stay away from the generic songs, but then the ballads will be too boring for the general public and she'll fade quickly. That's why I think 'Dancing On My Own' would be a good choice. It sort of lies in the middle.

She doesnt need a successful single at this point though.
