Hm. No. The derivative of ln(sinx) is cos(x)/sin(x) or cot(x) because of the chain rule.
It's a bit different when you're doing implicit differentiation with the y, so it's easier to use dy and dx. Derivative of ln(y) is 1/y dy, and you're trying to find dy/dx.
