I've come to the conclusion that her flopping (What Do You Take Me For and the album) is down to her image change, with her first era she was this sweet girl with fun pop songs, now she's trying to be sexy which she never really did before, no one wants their daughter to support that (imo that was where the majority of her sales come from), they probably think the album is full of sex songs or something.

That, and I honestly think the hair is part of it. People associate it with AAT. No one wants an album full of AAT's.
