I started to wonder yesterday...can Taylor be already considered to be country music icon? I know she has the crossover thing, but country music has always claimed her. She has won EOTY (country music biggest accolade) 2 times now. Amazing feat in male dominated industry. She has the most awarded album in country music history. Biggest first week sales for a country studio album in history. And the list goes on and on. I think she has a pretty strong case. Thoughts? Seperate thread maybe?
