After listening to the previews over and over and over and over....
I think Turn It Up Louder as a whole is better than Young Foolish Happy. We haven't heard the album in full yet, but I doubt my verdict will change. It's just more interesting, and her vocals are better. The fun songs are more fun than the ones on YFH and the ballads are far better.
Mama Do, Boys and Girls, Turn It Up, Here We Go Again >>> All About Tonight, What Do You Take Me For, Kiss The Stars, Birthday
Gravity, Band Aid >>> Stevie On The Radio, Love You To Death
Cry Me Out, Nothing Compares >>> You Win, We Just Go On, Everybody Hurts Sometimes
...and so on. That being said, I'm not claiming that the album isn't GOOD. It sounds quite good. It's more generic than TIU, and it feels like it's a bit scattered. The only songs that really seem like a step in the right direction are Nobody Does It Better, You Win, and the bonus tracks. She seems to be straying away from the little cheekiness that made TIU such a good debut. The only respect in which YFH is stronger is that there's less filler. I would say that Perfect is kind of a filler, whereas The Way The World Works, My Love, and Hold Me In Your Arms (while all good songs) were just there to take up space.
In conclusion...I still can't mutha****in' wait for this album, even if it isn't as good as Turn It Up.

Last year I would've agreed with you but Band Aid has grown on me. My point was just that TIU had filler, even if it was GOOD filler.

I'm not expecting this to be better either, TIUL was 5 years in the making but she did this in about 8 months. I think it sounds more cohensive though (depite AAT and KTS )

My thoughts exactly.
As a whole, it's more cohesive than TIU, but the overall quality level is lower. However, my third album senses are telling me we are in for one heck of a ride in a few years.

She needs to find the middle between generic trash like All About Tonight, and soulful ballads like Broken Arrow/You Win.
Although the melody of You Win gives me so much life, I cant.
She needs to go on tour, and then spend a solid 14 - 16 months recording for the third album and bring it out in 2013 - shes had a release every year for the past 3 years now. She cant become the new Rihanna

Oh God no.
And YASSSS the melody of You Win was my instant fave when we heard the previews. I don't like how much she strains on it though, it concerns me. Of course we know she can still sing, I think the acoustic performances of Fix You and Isn't She Lovely clarify that. But still.
Just think, an album full of Boys & Girls, Turn It Ups and You Wins.

Doing Fine was the perfect example of a hit that doesn't sound out of place. and WDYTMF as well.

I love the way her voice sounds on YW, she fits the song so perfectly But her voice does sound odd on most of the tracks. Like, theres a wall between her and the mic. Especially AAT, it sounds so rushed I'm glad she still has a big hit after the album release, that was one thing TIU was missing. She could get three top 10's from one album finalle
Hew else has gotten approvel from Stevie Wonder, John Legend, Simon Cowell and Joe Jonas?

It's my favorite preview.
and the bonus tracks
I agree.
Songs like AAT and KTS break album cohesion. Bonus >>>>>>>
Till The Sun Comes Out is the perfect up temp hit from Pix. Hope she release this, i don't want reissue.

Songstress PIXIE LOTT and her model boyfriend OLIVER CHESHIRE are one annoyingly good-looking couple.
And they are clearly head over heels in love too – in fact Pixie has even written a few songs about her man.
Talking about her new album Young Foolish Happy she said: “I haven’t played him the whole songs – I’ve only let him hear snippets. He likes them. You’ll be able to tell they’re about him. He’s very flattered.”

How similar does the preview of "We Just Go On" sound to Jessie J's "Who You Are"?! Amazing.
