It was also #48 on the Hot 200 on my B-Day... which was after IWG was released.

I love how you seem to forget Britney was TOURING during the whole 'I Wanna Go' run. Now some may be deluded and say "tours don't sell albums" but when you don't promote **** like Britney, news about the tour are promo.
But hey, whatever. This subject is too annoying already.

Your point is true, btw. It's the same thing I said. It's not selling, and it didn't matter what was next because she wasn't going to promote it. But I feel like since this era has been successful in that retrospect, they should've kept the momentum going. It's not wrong to think that way, nor does it necessarily mean I "only care about radio hits". I'd just like to see Britney have continued success while she's getting it. Not to say "Criminal" is done yet, of course.
And yes, we were not discussing that it WASN'T EXPLODING. We were discussing the consistent mediocre updates. It's not that difficult to understand if you finally take the stick out your ass. Exploding would be the +200 spins/+1m updates Bruno Mars & Katy Perry have been getting, passing Britney. I'd just like to see some reasonable updates. Sorry!

I get your point. I just prefer a different kind of music being released instead of the same thing for the 3537589830959th time in a row, even if it means we're not getting another big hit. In all honesty, do you really think it's gonna make much of a difference for Britney's career? I mean, no, absolutely NO SONG has a shot at going #1 cause she won't promote, so, seriously, "potato, potato".
