I said they can't write to save their life which I mean career.U get it now
TOY and NLTM (which were written by katy) give us two of her most emotional performances tho...the latter being performed at the grammys with good reviews. sooo yeah...it did save her life/career.
What is there to be mad about? It's obvious that the OP was wayyy off mark. Katy isn't even that relevant worldwide first off, and secondly just because Rihanna recently put out an amazing video it doesn't transcend her into trinity status.
Katy really only delivers with single success, and that success usually doesn't trandscend well WW. Katy falls short in everything else.
Frankly, both artists lack any stage charisma or personality. They're not exciting to watch or listen to, they're just missing that 'it factor' element.
Co-signed. The masses mainly look to these two for catchy pop songs, and that's about it. Esp. here in America.
Not really, no. Each has there country that they pretty much rule, then there is worldwide success, which each has achieved.
During the Teenage Dream era Katy ruled the Hot 100-yes, but these same singles were not that successful worldwide. I don't even think I have to mention album figures....
Let's just enjoy your favorites' successes and music right now. No one knows what the future holds. It's not as if most of you are prophets or anything. After all, it was supposed to be another dominating year for 'The Trinity,' according to most ATRLers.
And the Trinity got overshadowed by the british foreign exchange student, the caribbean import and the valley girl.

Her albums sales are great, I don't see the problem.
