Some of those comparsons are really ridiculous, especially random hairstyles and outfits. Madonna wasnt even famous yet in one of those pictures Madonna was the FIRST to sing hanging on a cross, that picture compared to her doing that.... some of them were obviously blatant homages, vogue and express yourself were inspired. Madonna said so herself in explaining the concept of EY, it was inspired by a movie.
