Not really. Bionic was originally less mainstream. Most of the songs that Christina wanted were more like Elastic Love, Monday Morning, and Birds Of Prey. But then the label wanted more mainstream songs like Not Myself Tonight, Woohoo, and Vanity.
IIRC, in a lot of interviews before the era started, she said the album would be short, yet we got an 18-track standard edition.
