oh and suddenly anyone who discovers that gay message in PF, calls this a gay anthem and praises gaga for that! Seriously gurl?
IKAG had a gay message in it's title... not the message like BTW or F (be yourself and you're perfect) but It was like gays are cool in a provacative way... Katy became famous with this song...

Oh dear. There are still people who think Ur So Gay is insulting? All it is is a song about how stereotypical gay personalities aren't the thing she looks for in a man. I'm sure Katy feels bad about fancying Footballers over Drag Queens, but there's not much she can do about it so grow up and move on.
It's completely different to 'Ur So Black' or 'Ur So Jewish' etc because none of them would make any sense at all.

IKAG was about Katy exploring her sexuality. She has said in interviews that she actually did kiss a girl, and she wrote the lyrics, so it's not like this is some brilliant scheme concocted by her label to get her on the map. Frankly, a song about exploring your sexuality is the very opposite of homophobic. It's not Katy's fault America holds a "girls kissing is hot and boys kissing is gross" mindset. And so what if the provocativeness helped her out? All pop stars, Madonna and Gaga included, employ provocative themes and undertones in their music, fashion, etc. That's a component of being a celebrity.
Ur So Gay is not an attack against gay people, either. It's her venting on an ex. If you're offended, don't listen.

Can we just STOP responding to this dude? That is what he looking for... he "wins" with every reply. Just ignore him. He has nothing more to say if we don't respond. Doesn't mean we lose. Maybe in 2 years he will change how he thinks--I wasn't a Katy fan 2 years ago. I said her voice was whiney!!! SO... I have hope for those that aren't Katy fans... all in due time.. for some... hehehe!
