I think she sounded great, anyways. When I listen to her, I feel something inside I don't feel from anyone else.
I mean, look at this. I've never heard this kind of applause for a non-single.
See, if she could perform like that every time I would have a different opinion of her. That performance was really good, but every other performance of hers I've seen has been way below that level.

I suggest you either read the post again or reevaluate your idea of what a sentence is.

My post was in response to what you quoted but I stand correted
The problem with Katy's voice is that it doesn't translate well live with her songs. Her songs are crafted great for radio but I can't imagine her singing them the same way she does live and having it sound good.
She is limited not only in terms of what sounds good concerning her range but also in terms of sheer application of using her voice. She doesn't know how to utilize her voice. I don't believe she really knows how to technically sing and that's why every time she sings her own songs she sounds like she is performing karaoke. There is an amateur like quality of her voice not sounding trained or conditioned and that results with a lack of professionalism when she sings. It's that unrefined singing technique that makes her sound limited. I am sure a lot of it is breath support but I also think a lot of it is also how her songs are made. Her songs are supposed to be these quick witted, crisp vocal exclamations, these smart-minded chants to snap your fingers to. These cute little quips that everyone can jive around but there is no way she call pull off that rapid fire delivery without getting winded quickly. That's even if she had good breath support to begin with.
If you listen to singers who do have that kind of control and clarity like Beyonce and Adele it becomes noticeable because they have enough strength and breath support to condition their tone with depth and color. They take breaks and don't try to overwhelm themselves vocally buy trying to sing everything at once. Katy's voice doesn't have a lot of color but it's also splintered by her not having a lot of breath. Her best vocal qualities are her head voice, in my opinion and that's why I think she sounds best in songs like Teenage Dream and Not Like The Movies.
She needs to take vocal lessons. She could be beyond awesome. I find it odd that she doesn't show strong vocal ability considering she was a Christian/Gospel singer at one point.
