well J.lo is the most sucessful actress turned singer of the list provided. She is, afterall, the only entertainer in history to have a c.d and movie to debut at #1 in the same week with "J.lo" and "Maid In Manhatten."

She was and still is a great actress. Then she moved into music and is now a legend.

People, J.Lo ain't that good of an actress. Her boriqua-ness seeps through even in her most serious roles.

All the Neighbours ladies too i.e. Kylie Minogue, Jason Donovan (male and big in the 80's), Natalie Imbruglia (hasn't got a massive or distinctive voice but uses it well in her music), Holly Valance (not a great singer but well..) and Delta Goodroom. The Dani Minogue, the only succesful launch from 'Neighbour's' rival 'Home and Away'.
