Why is that album charting so high in France?

Last I check I said F.A.M.E. outsold Femme Fatale in the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

And I never mentioned the number of singles released or promo done (although Britney has also promoted, even if it was only during the release week + BMA performance) . Thing is, even 1st week speaking Femme Fatale has underperformed BIG TIME, and I don't know why you guys are trying to sugarcoat it. :-/

As for the collaborations, Britney has also done her fair share of collabs this era and let's face it, collabs sell SINGLES, not albums.

In the end of things, Britney Spears should have sold more than people like Chris Brown, no matter how much more promo he has done. Or at least that's what we used to think until earlier this year, right?

But I'm done with subject, you can keep saying the album is doing "ok" and looking for excuses - Stay there and and I stay right here, agreeing to disagree, huh?

But that's odd. Is the album discounted or something?

I see where you're coming from, but are you saying that her promotion was better than his? it wasn't. I do think F.F. is under performing though due to a huge lack of promotion, her last album 'Circus' sold 500,000+ copies in the 1st week here in the U.S. -- the promotion for that era ***** on this one. Bitch needs a better & improved team.

I don't even think it's fair to blame her team anymore. I just think Britney herself doesn't want to promote.

A 30 second appearance and performing a song that isnt even hers isn't really 'promo'.

It really didnt. I'm not trying to sugarcoat anything, but i think we really were expecting too much. Circus did 500K because it was her comeback album, had a reasonable amount of promo but most importantly was released in the christmas season.

HIAM was dead weeks before the album was released and ttwe was just taking off, there was no 'huge' single at the time, and it was released in the deadest sales part of the year, yet it still managed 276K which is more than what kesha, katy and rihanna did with their albums and they had huge smash hits preceding theirs. And the only 'promo' the album had was GMA and jimmy kimmel, and those performances were terrible anyway and she looked a mess, so i think they hurt sales more than they did help.

She sold more worldwide which is more important anyway.

I'm not looking for excuses , femme fatale's album sales look like ****, i've said that lots of times, you just spilled inaccurate tea and i disagreed and had to correct you.

Poor Anthony he'll never get over the sales thing. He only stanned for Britney because she was the top selling girl not because he actually likes her.

Actually, that's a whole different story - even if I think things were handled much better during the 'Circus' era and it could have sold around 350k even if released earlier in the year like FF - that album sold that high due to being released during the holidays.

Thing is, you made a good point: they needed to improve if they decided to release during a slow period for sales, and they didn't, so...

But hey, water under the bridge - I say let's enjoy the good things 'Femme Fatale' has brought us, no need to try to hide the bad side of the era, the info is out there for everyone to see anyway.
