If I'm honest, I'm really sick of people saying Gaga has gone downhill when she hasn't - just because Katy Perry desparately scores 5 #1s and Adele is #1 for 13 weeks. 1: Katy Perry only got that 5th #1 out of desperation for tying MJ's record and Adele's hype will die down next year (hopefully). And people are like "Oh yeah I used to stan for her but then she stopped singing about parties and disco sticks so now everyone hates her and because the other girls still do it they're more successful" etc. Born This Way was #1 in the US for 6 weeks, how can anyone say it was based on hype alone? Judas flopped but The Edge and You and I are still big hits despite not being #1s. And I think she's toned down the craziness slightly for You & I and when Greatest and Marry The Night come out those who say she's over will eat their words.
