What I don't get is how her label/team, who have years of experience and are some of the best in the business, didn't realize she had a flop on her hand and that radio wouldn't touch it. Who are her advisers? Who takes care of her image/brand? Kinda scary.

UMMM, of course it is. Just not Scheiße YET... Marry The Night FIRST. I just said that because she's going to GERMANY. Hint - "I don't speak German, but I can if you'd like."

Well, the song itself is not bad. The thing is that Born This Way was still big on the radio and the song is not that radio friendly. But, you can make it work somehow, like it worked on Latin America. Her label should have payola the radio stations, since it was the single that would sell the albums. Of couse, she should have choosen TEOG or MTN since the beginning as the 2 nd single. Still, they could have made it happen if they wanted...

Would any other girl be as shameless as to milk the signature, insta-hit, sound of a producer like, I don't know, RedOne? Probably not. And even if this other girl did decide to ride RedOne's production talents into superstardom, she'd probably decide not to work with RedOne on her third (maybe second, depending on who you ask) album, or at least limit his input, and come up with material that sounds soooo incredibly dissimilar to anything RedOne would have created.

People is always afraid of these things going into radio:
1-Hardcore Sex (Erotica, anyone?)
2-Religion (we all know this)
3-Raw Violence (no comments about)
Nice signature

No one predicted it would flop.
It got good reviews, the fan reception was out of this world & so was the regular listeners.
It was just an usual case.

It really was such a bizarre single choice. I remember my friend and I thought it sounded really messy/hard for radio.
Not to mention that beyond messy/rushed release when it "leaked." It had less than 3 days to sell before it debuted at 10 which helped to further kill any of that song's momentum. At least if it had sold for an entire week it might have reached higher than 10.

Sometimes I think she stabbed herself with Judas. I think she literally wanted it to flop. Maybe it was a sacrifice, I don't know...

You'd think a label like Interscope would do some market research and radio road tests before launching the album of the decade's pivotal 2nd single right before the album release.

I don't think she wanted it tio flop, but I do feel that she and her label didn't do much to stop that from happening . There were only like 2 performances of the song in the US and when it had a chance to increase she released TEOG. So I do think Interscope and Gaga just let the song die...

Guys, let's look at the future. 2012 can be Gaga's year again. 5 more single releases, it could be any milestone on it.

I just don't know what I'll do if something like Hair is announced as the next single and not MTN.
Oh, and she should throw some promo France's way on her European holiday tour.

No.
No artist ever wants to flop. Judas was the most obvious 'hit' on the album tbh.

Hair > MTN, in my opinion. But since most people say the opposite, I suppose I'm wrong. But I can't see MTN being a hit.

Now's not the time. I like Hair, I just think MTN has winter smash written on it.
