I just worry too much about her I guess.

You shouldn't be worried.
Judas is gonna cross 1m by the next year. I remember seeing a 900k figures for Judas but it is not official though.
TEOG should be around 1.9m now. HDT tracks only one version. The remixes should make up around 50k. So i bet one more month, it will cross 2m.

In the words of Nicole, when has a mainstream POP song about drinking/partying not done well? I think that those who would buy a song from Rihanna are more likely to relate to Cheers.

I sincerely hope Gaga plans on doing more tv promo for Y&I. A simple piano performance on a show like Jay Leno could do wonders.

She needs to go elswhere as Y&I has taken off in the US. For example...idk...the UK.

First and foremost, the focus should be on the US. It's the biggest music market and the US is where Y&I will do the best. It's not the kind of song UK is used to, so it'd be pointless IMO. She needs to edge ahead of Rihanna and a few others in the US so she can continue the song's success. If she slays in the US, everything will be ok.
The only countries even showing love are US, Canada, AUS, and New Zealand.
For the UK and Germany, she should go and promote the album more than the current single.

But that's like saying 'They probably won't buy her music in India, so she shouldn't even bother visiting'. There are markets other than the US, even though it's the biggest, I think sometimes people forget that.

It has nothing to do with "forgetting that other markets exist," it's about catering to the markets you know will buy your current single that is completely different from what people expect. Y&I is a song that just won't sell well in certain countries because it doesn't have that universal pop vibe to it. If she focuses on the US for now, she will be able to let the next single ride on Y&I's back while she focuses on other countries when the time comes. I mean, this is if she even cares about sales or w.e. If the song does well in the US, the success could translate to other countries like Adele's RITD did in the US.
As for India, though, they're all for western acts, no matter the music. Gaga is absolutely massive in India, or so I've been told by a friend who recently visited, so she doesn't even have to go over there, but she is because she's catering to her current popularity there. This is why artists like Rihanna and Katy are so big in the US. They're masters at catering to what people like. And while I don't want Gaga to cater, per se, she kind of has to with this ballad since it's so different.

How do you know this though? If you don't explore the possibilities you'll never find out if it'll do well or not. I agree with promoting Y&I in the US now, I just don't think you should immediately write off a song's success in a particular market because it's not 'the norm'. I saw many people saying Y&I would flop hard in the US (it's too soon to say it's 'smashing' or whatever) but it's really taking off.
Anyway, it's just my opinion, obviously everyone will have different ideas about where she should promote etc.

I think I'm just being a worry wart. With competition like PUK, SLY, and Cheers, she really needs to play her cards right so Y&I can live to its maximum potential. I really wasn't saying for her to write off the UK or whatever, just to focus on the US for as long as possible because that's where most of sales will come from.

She's done MORE than enough in the US...The view, Kimmel, radio interviews, VMA, MTV video premiere, radio interviews and she's got the Emmy's coming up. She's done nothing internationally since July. WW is important for gaga she's not Taylor Swift...this is the woman who in 2008 said she was "going to take over the WORLD one sequin at a time". She needs to go to the UK, Germany, Italy and The Netherlands soon...and I think she will. She needs to save up some of her US promo for towards the end of the year when sales are higher that would be more beneficial.
I hate her US fans that think they own her. I remember when she was doing all her european/japan/Australia promo they kept moaning on a lot of the forums that she wasn't in the US...it's like do you forget when she launched the album she was on pretty much EVERY tv show in america?

She has been since July. She's been in the US consistently since then. It's more than enough time.
