Britney Spears will be honored at the upcoming NRJ Music Awards, Saturday, January 21, 2012, live from the Midem in Cannes.
Nikos Aliagas who Britney has met with on several occasions stated:
“There will be a tribute to a pop icon, the same person who had the VMA Vanguard Award”, announced on his Twitter account, a few hours ago, who leads the NRJ Music Awards since 2009. It could also receive an honorary award for lifetime achievement.
Nikos has been involved heavily with NRJ over the years and was present when Britney performed on Star Academy.
