The charts/billboard is completely separate from your own thoughts about the song. If you like the song, like it, if you don't like it, don't like it. Don't dislike it just because a remix was created for the song and both were discounted on Itunes.

I like the song but I do not like the fact that her label was SO desperate. A #2 peak would have been great for a 5th single! Ugh.

I don't watch music videos much anyway, so it wasn't anything too out of the ordinary for me.
I only live for RihRih music videos, the rest have no value to me. But I made it a point to not watch LFN.

Actually, no. I'm just saying that Katy isn't the only one featuring other artists and it's not an illegal thing to do. I'm trying to prove the point that it wasn't Kanye or Snoop that got those songs to #1 because of their name being on the song itself. Otherwise Telephone would have went #1 based off of their two names being on the song.

Okay... then why haven't Snoop Dogg and Missy gotten a solo hit recently? Snoop Dogg released an album in March, you know? I didn't see any of his singles anywhere. As for Missy: if she were as relevant as you make her seem, wouldn't the remix have sold way more? The remix's petty sales kind of convey that no one's here for Missy right now.
