And I have a question for you guys.
How do you feel about Rihanna not attending many award shows?
We see gurlz like Katy Perry attending every show on the face of this earth. But Rihanna attends very few award shows a year. I can only think of her going to the Grammy's and AMA's. Since the GGGB era she doesn't frequent other award shows like the People's Choice Awards, VMA's, TCA's, MTV Movie Awards, blah, blah blah. So what do you guys think?

I think because of her tour. She is so busy with her concerts and Cheers music video right now..

And please Rihanna is chilling in Barbados sippin on some Corona right now, her NA tour leg is finished and she has a month of only a few European appearances. But I was just wondering what you guys think. Cause from what I've seen she does promo, but not amazing promo. Imagine how much she'd sell with promo even half as good as Katy's. I do think Katy takes a bit overboard though, and I'm fine if Rih doesn't go to the lesser award shows like BET/TCA but I wouldn't mind if she performed in other shows like the VMA's (even though they've snubbed her too much)

Me too. At first I was like "Rih shouldn't even mention those flops at MTV." but with Cheers shaping up to be so huge. I think a performance at the VMA's could REALLY benefit her. So, I'm swallowing my pride and saying that yes she should go. I don't think she has anything planned. She's free for a month after the August 21/22 V Festival in August, and the VMA's are the 28th I believe, so it could happen.

Yeah they are the 28th. However, Chris Brown is going to be there and they haven't attended the same award show since the incident. So it puts doubt in my mind that she will go. But I really hope she does

That'd be so weird if she did attend. I can already picture MTV's shady ass zooming in on Rihanna if Chris wins an award or vice versa. It's gonna happen eventually though. He'll probably attend next year's Grammys. But we'll see. Maybe pull a Beyonce and tape the performance beforehand.
